The kick-off meeting of the project 'IN NEET: ENCOURAGING YOUNG PEOPLE TO BUILD A BETTER EUROPE' will start on Wednesday, October 20th, in Alimos, Greece. The project is funded under the Europe for Citizens program and involves DICA ETS as a partner.
The project aims to create a European network composed of eight different international organizations from Bulgaria, Cyprus, Greece, Italy, Romania, Slovenia, and Spain, focusing on the Neet phenomenon, an acronym for "Not in education, employment, or training" - referring to young people who are neither studying, working, nor seeking employment.
The project's goal is to propose solutions to encourage Neets to fully participate in the civic life of European citizens by building channels and social spaces to reintegrate them into society.
The project is structured into eight international events where representatives of civil society and local authorities will carry out various activities in collaboration with the involved citizens to develop new proposals and possible solutions for the Neet generation.
Updates, photos, and videos about the project activities will be available on DICA ETS's social media channels – Facebook: DICAOnlus; Twitter: @dicaonlus.
