“KATHMANDU VALLEY: A NETWORK TO RESTORE DIGNIFIED LIFE CONDITIONS FOR NEPALESE COMUNITY AFFECTED BY THE EARTHQUAKE” - Tuscany Region, Emergency - 2015
International Cooperation – Tuscany Region// Emergency
The project stems from a well-established collaboration between the Tuscan and Nepalese civil societies. NGOs from the Tuscan region such as Oxfam Italy, AIBI, CIAI, and ASIA, coordinating with the regional tables, have defined a common strategy to support the Nepalese population. Dica ETS Association, in the role of project partner, has been engaged in activities of involvement and awareness-raising in the territory, including the fundraising event "Tuscany in the World" aimed at co-financing activities in Nepal. Tuscan consortium associations present in Nepal have initially conducted a feasibility study of the needs of the population through collaboration with local partners, as well as sending additional specialized operators belonging to emergency teams to the field.
