On Monday, September 26th, in Bucharest (Romania), the fourth international event of the project "IN NEET: ENCOURAGING YOUNG PEOPLE TO BUILD A BETTER EUROPE" will take place, funded under the Europe for Citizens program, with the DICA ETS Association acting as a partner.
The focus of this fourth meeting will be specifically on the theme "Early school leaving, youth unemployment, and NEETs," exploring the relationship between school dropout rates and youth unemployment with the NEET phenomenon, and how these elements intertwine in the different contexts of the countries represented by the eight participating international organizations.
Participants will engage in conferences and workshops to explore how education can impact the NEET phenomenon, discuss strategies to address this situation, and consider the role of the European Union in this context.
The project's objective, to propose solutions to encourage young people - particularly NEETs (Not in Education, Employment, or Training) - to participate in European civic life, is enriched with a new dimension focusing on the world of work.
The event will conclude on September 28th.
Updates, photos, and videos about the project activities will be available on our social media channels.
