On Monday, May 23rd, in Athienou (Cyprus), the third international event of the project "IN NEET: ENCOURAGING YOUNG PEOPLE TO BUILD A BETTER EUROPE" will take place, funded under the Europe for Citizens program, with the DICA ETS Association acting as a partner.
The focus of this third meeting will be specifically on the theme "The impact of the social environment in which someone grows up," referring to the specific geographical, social, cultural, and economic backgrounds of the eight international partner organizations involved in the project.
Delegates will be invited to participate in open debates led by experts, focusing on the influence of cultural context on the NEET phenomenon and the role of the European Union in this dynamic.
Each intervention will be enriched by the creative participation of the associations and the enhancement of their work in their respective local contexts.
The project's objective, to propose solutions to encourage young people, particularly NEETs (Not in Education, Employment, or Training), to participate in European civic life, is reiterated and expanded, with a particular emphasis on creative and proactive debate among the organizations.
The event will conclude on May 25th, and updates, photos, and videos about the project activities will be available on our social media.
